History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Through the years after Hubert was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Hubert's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the west. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Oriel lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
