History: He comes from a rich northern family. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Roger took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up shortspear and armor he uses now. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Interpreter who has hired him part-time. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Born to a Sculptor, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Description: A middle-aged man, he tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look, and is pretty ugly. His auburn hair is long and unkept. He has several tiny topaz earrings on each ear.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gilbert embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Spy and was forced into it by his family; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with music. She constantly tries to fill her life with music. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. She has never given up on her music dream.
