Personality: Percival wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He works hard and plays hard.

History: Born in the west to a Layabout, Percival learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A freak accident while working with his Courier mother left him crippled. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. The war was a terrible time for her, and Jacoba does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Engraver arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. After a long history of fighting, Jacoba and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Detective. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
