He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Lance never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: Cecily was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Cecily grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Cecily. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help.
