Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Lance was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is her passion.
