History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Simon alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and many goblins want him driven away
