History: Born in the south to a Scribe, Melissa learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Detective they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Scribe, and she later adopted a second son.

He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was born in the west. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Hugh and his spouse have recently divorced.
