History: Anselm was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Anselm was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Anselm decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Everard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Everard. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world
