Personality: He is a Apothecary first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bernard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bernard. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
