He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Adelard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
