Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Anthony hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Anthony was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Emma was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
