History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gomory does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Gifted from a young age, Gomory studied abroad. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. Katherine enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
