Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears a white tunic with black highlights, and long green pants that bunch up around his shoes. He has done his best to style his black hair to look like a famous performer. He has green eyes.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Bertram was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Spy. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Born to a Layabout, her father struggled to pay the bills. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Spy work with an outfit from a few towns over. Spy work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She's also a talented Layabout, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
