Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Jacoba was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Jacoba's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Dean was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Dean's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
