History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Mary grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Emma was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She has never given up on her poetry dream.

Personality: Jocelyn wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Detective but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Jocelyn was born the youngest of three triplets. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
