History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Laborer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Laborer work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
