She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Egelina was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her parents enrolled her in a Paladin school at a young age so that she could practice her arcane talents. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance.
