History: He was born in a small desert village. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Manfred took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up sickle and armor he uses now. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Manfred fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Juliana was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Mercenary for the past few years.

History: Norman was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has worked as a Blacksmith like his father before him.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and to reunite with her absent mother
