History: Gifted from a young age, Lance studied abroad. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 5'9". He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress), and his gloved hand is found clutching a scimitar. With a patchy silver beard and wild silver hair. His blue eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and to protect his home

Description: With black face paint in a stripe pattern across her face, she is wearing a long, blue cloak. Her silver hair is singed and shortened. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Matilda grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Matilda. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
