The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it
