Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Architect business.

History: Oriel lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her mother's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered gnolls who tried to eat her hand. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Oriel was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Layabout arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has worked as a Layabout like her mother before her.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Aldous enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
