He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs; and meet up once more with her childhood friend
