Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 6'1". He dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner, and his gloved hand is found clutching a ceremonial dagger. He has shaved his head bald. His gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. The war was a terrible time for him, and Richard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Richard reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: This woman is tall and muscular. She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty green coat over it. Her black hair is thinning but still full. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Helen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Helen. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gray.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has achieved small success as a Painter.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and she is content

She has done her best to style her red hair to look like a famous performer. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Millicent was born the youngest of three triplets. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bellfounder and was forced into it by her family; and wants to raise her children well
