History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: Anne hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. The war was a terrible time for him, and Dean does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He struck the Sage job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he feels kind of lost in life
