Description: This man is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down, and sports empty pouches on his belt. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. His eyes are a pleasant gray.
Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. William abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: This malnourished woman wears a red feathered hat and red clothes. Her red hair is knotted and matted. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her amber eyes.
Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. A true patriot, Adelaide would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Adelaide was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Marshal hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

Description: He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. His red hair is lengthy. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Theobald grew up listening to his father's many stories. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he's looking for his big break

Description: An older man who wears a grey cloak and cross-gartered tan stockings, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is long and black with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. His amber unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a great chef.
History: Manfred was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His parents enrolled him in a Paladin school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.
