History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ernest was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty red coat over it. His black hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His hazel eyes peer out from beneath his small red hat.

Personality: He is a Bookbinder first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bookbinder responsibilities is difficult.

Description: Her skin is bronze and flawless. She tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. She is an epitome of beauty. She sports a flattop hair cut. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Fletcher arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
