Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. The war was a terrible time for her, and Emma does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Emma was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
