Description: 5'5" and muscular, this southern man dresses well, wearing red shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His white hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His eyes are violet.

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Heward took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up sai and armor he uses now. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a robe, a symbol of strength around his neck, and a pickaxe on his belt. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy silver hair. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: She wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her monstrous two handed axe with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. Her chestnut hair is still thick. She has gleaming, smiling blue eyes.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the west. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Seamstress. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and balancing her hectic life and new scribe responsibilities is difficult
