History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Chad was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Chad's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Chad fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Aldous lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Aldous was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Aldous's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.
