History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Nicholas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Dilettante. He struck the Dilettante job and began his own company from there.

History: She got into the Tanner business at a young age. She worked as a nervous Tanner and found it very stressful. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Healer. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Born in the west to a Fortune-teller, Chad learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Hugh hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Hugh alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has never given up on his singing dream.
