Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Emmeline embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. After a long history of fighting, Emmeline and her spouse have recently divorced.

His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Merchant who has hired him part-time. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Miner. She became a Miner soon after.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and her religion dominates her actions
