History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Born in the south to a Navigator, Rosalind learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She tends to her Navigator job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
