History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Jacoba was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it; and someone believes her a fraud

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
