Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Nicholas is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Crown-heir they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Barber, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 21. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Description: This northern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She tends to wear a brown poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. She has red hair. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Her parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when she was still a young child. The dire rats captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Sarah was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it
