History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Katherine's homeland. Katherine decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Katherine fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and expand his business

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Randal was born the youngest of three triplets. His childhood dream was to be a Layabout, but he was a colossal failure. He's also a talented Layabout, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: She is a Butcher first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Herleva was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered music. Now she works as a music tutor during her time off.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
