History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her 17th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has achieved small success as a Gardener.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Through the years after Oriel was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Oriel's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Oriel and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Hugh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. He tends to his Mortician job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
