Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Miller for the past few years.

Motivation: To be a Scribe again; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: Born to a Body Guard, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and to reunite with her absent father

Personality: Justin is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born to a Seamstress, his father struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
