History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gerald grew up listening to his father's many stories. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
