Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and doesn't want to be a navigator and was forced into it by his family

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are violet.
Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.
History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He's also a talented Unemployed, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: Expand his business; and balancing his hectic life and new sculptor responsibilities is difficult

Description: This man has a large black mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his grey robe. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His hair is white and very short. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his trident with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His auburn hair, when down, is lengthy. His amber eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.
History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. At a young age his father died while driving off some dire rats. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in trident use. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Patrick fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.
