History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. After a long history of fighting, Avice and her spouse have recently divorced.
