History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. After coming to the age of reason, Gerard took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Gerard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.
