Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His moppish chestnut hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His eyes are likewise blue. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Rolf's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Rolf was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He became a Painter soon after.
