Personality: Emma is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her writing with anyone who is interested.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Healer arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
