Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Knight they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Unemployed, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Vicky decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
