History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Charles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
