History: The child of a Mayor, who enjoyed hunting, Peter was taken on many hunting expeditions. After coming to the age of reason, Peter took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Mary hails from a village terrorized by giants. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and to get a good night's sleep
