He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: She got into the Cartwright business at a young age. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
