History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Katherine was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Katherine decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Description: The light-skinned man stands 5'9" and is wearing a long, brown cloak. His black hair is greasy and uncared for. His brown eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Bertram was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Sailor. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Adam isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: He stands about 6'4" and wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. He has a long silver beard with little hanging trinkets. This blue eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Patrick fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
