History: Jane was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: William is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.
