History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in the east to a Soapmaker, Geoffrey learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Geoffrey alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has achieved small success as a Soapmaker.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Some 3 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Eleanor never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
